Blyth Town Carnival

Blyth Town Carnival returns this summer with a vibrant maritime-themed celebration honouring the 200th anniversary of RNLI Blyth Lifeboat.

Taking place on Saturday 4th July in Blyth Town Centre, the event promises a fantastic day of community spirit, creativity and family-friendly entertainment.

The carnival parade will travel through the town before finishing in the Market Place, where visitors can continue enjoying live performances, activities and entertainment throughout the afternoon.

Community groups, performers, schools, charities and local organisations are encouraged to get involved by creating floats, dressing up, performing or showcasing their work as part of the celebrations.

The event highlights Blyth’s proud maritime heritage while bringing residents and visitors together for a memorable day in the town centre.

With strong community participation expected and spaces already filling quickly, organisers are encouraging groups and organisations to sign up early to be part of what promises to be one of Blyth’s biggest and most colourful community events yet.
