Blyth Tall Ship Heritage Walk

Step into Blyth’s rich past with our guided heritage walks, beginning at the Market Pavilion and weaving through the town’s most significant historic landmarks.

Over approximately 1–1.5 hours, you’ll uncover the stories that shaped this coastal community, led by knowledgeable and passionate guides.

Along the route, you’ll visit key sites including the striking Ridley Park War Memorial, a moving tribute to local history, and the iconic Blyth High Lighthouse, which has guided ships along the coastline for generations. Each stop brings Blyth’s heritage to life with fascinating insights and hidden details.

The walk concludes at the Blyth Tall Ship workshop, where you’re warmly invited to step inside and continue your experience with an optional guided tour. It’s the perfect way to connect Blyth’s past with its living maritime traditions.

The heritage walk takes place on Monday 29th June at 10am.
